Based at Ariah Park in the Riverina, NSW, Bauer & Retallack breed productive Border Leicester rams for commercial sheep producers, with a focus on length, muscling, wool, fertility and structural soundness.
Our Border Leicester rams are used over Merino ewes to produce productive, fertile first-cross ewes.

Bauer and Retallack Border Leicester studs are owned and operated by Jamie and Tracey Buerckner. The properties “Pine Valley” and “Retallack” comprise approximately 1200 ha and are situated 10 kms north of Ariah Park, New South Wales.
We are passionate about breeding quality border rams for commercial breeders with a strong focus on length of body, well muscled, wool and fertility supported by a sensible use of data.
